June 24, 2011

Eugene, Oregon - The 2011 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships continued today with both senior Cordero Gray and freshman Clayton Vaughn competing in the 100m.

The freshman All-America sprinter opened day two of the meet with a false start in Heat 2 of the 100m.

Gray ran in the 100m semifinals later in the day, clocking a time of 10:17 which was just a bit shy of advancing him to the finals. The All-America senior's time was the 12th fastest in the semifinal round.
