
MT: Mavs travel to Austin for Austin Invitational

ARLINGTON, Texas - The UT Arlington men's tennis team will travel to Austin this weekend to compete in the Austin Invitational hosted by the University of Texas Longhorns.
Competition begins Friday morning at Penick-Allison Tennis Center at 8:30 a.m. Central on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The UT Invitational will feature nine nationally-ranked singles players - including two ranked newcomers - and four nationally-ranked doubles teams. There are a total of 54 players in two singles brackets of 32 - 'A Draw' and 'B Draw'. With a consolation round, players are guaranteed the right to play at least two matches.
The doubles field has four nationally-ranked teams, including two in the top 10 - No. 1 Costin Paval/Dane Webb of Oklahoma and No. 8 David Holiner/Chris Camillone. Doubles will be competing in a draw of 32.
This is the Mavericks' last competition of the fall season and will pick up play again in January when they take on TCU.
