ARLINGTON, Texas - UT Arlington men's tennis will take on the SMU Mustangs Wednesday in Dallas at 6 p.m.
The Mavericks are coming off an impressive road trip in New Mexico defeating two of their three opponents. In the three matches, the Mavericks went 1-1 against teams in the WAC, defeating New Mexico State 4-3 but falling short to Idaho 6-1.
The Mavericks look to keep the good play up against SMU before taking on three conference opponents in the next ten days. Ten days of good play can boost the Mavericks up in the Southland Conference standings.
The Mavericks hope to see another great performance from senior Mindaugas Celedinas who has been a solid factor and a leader all season.
"We are excited about playing SMU," UT Arlington head coach Diego Benitez said. "We have played very close matches and I expect the same this time. They have a good team and we have a good team, we had a very productive weekend so hopefully we can keep the momentum."
