ARLINGTON, Texas-The UT Arlington men's tennis team won their sixth match of the season when they defeated UT Dallas 6-1 Wednesday afternoon at the UTA Tennis Center.

The Mavericks won the doubles point including a shutout at the No. 2 position by Yauheni Yakauleu and Carlos Arbiza (8-0).

The men fell at the No. 3 singles position, but were able to take down foe and cross-town rival UT Dallas in all other singles competition to win the match 6-1.

UTA improves to 6-7 on the season and will host Comumbia Friday, Match 22 at the UTA Tennis Center.
