UT Arlington Notes | South Alabama Notes

MOBILE, Alabama -- The UT Arlington-South Alabama series begins with a Saturday doubleheader starting at 3 p.m. Friday night's series opener was postponed due to weather.

Saturday's first game is being televised on the Sun Belt Network and ESPN3. Brad Vachon (1-5, 5.49 ERA) is starting the first game for the Mavericks, with Zach Thompson (1-3, 5.57) set to go in the second.

UT Arlington is 9-16 overall and 1-5 in Sun Belt play. The Jaguars are 13-10 and 3-2. The series concludes Sunday with a noon first pitch.
