CABO, Mexico - UT Arlington jumped to third and Zach Galliford into the top 10 after Monday's second round of the Cabo Del Sol Invitational.
The Mavericks fired a 4-under-par 284 in round two for a two-round total of 1-under 575, pulling within five shots of tournament leader Georgia State (570). Georgia Southern (572) is second.
Galliford had the round of the day, moving up five spots into a tie for 10th after a minus-3 69. The junior is 4-under (140) for the tournament and only two shots back of leader Tyler Kertson from Santa Clara.
Aaron Guanlao (1-under 143) remained tied for 10th. Tanner Gore, after back-to-back even-par 72s, is tied for 14th. Andrew Sirowy shot 71 in round two, a sixth-shot improvement from Monday to climb 11 spots into a tie for 26th. Jake Greenspoon's 1-over 73 left him tied for 33rd.
Josh Radcliff (T30, 149), Harrison Moore (T33, 150) and Jaret Brewer (57, 186) are competing as individuals.
The third and final round of the 54-hole tournament is Tuesday.
