EL MACERO, Calif. – UT Arlington men's golf wrapped up its final tournament of the regular season, finishing in 18th place at the El Macero Classic. The Mavericks finished with a 44-over-par 908 for the tournament.

UTA posted an 18-over 306 in the third round. 

Arth Sinha carded his second-straight 2-over 74, finishing the tournament with a 4-over 220. The freshman birdied the sixth and seventh holes en route to a 1-under 35 on the front nine. All told, Sinha tied for 16th individually, the top finish for any UTA player.

Fellow freshman Nicholas Lyman was the next-highest finisher for the Mavericks, placing in a tie for 61st. The Surprise, Arizona-native also birdied the par-3 seventh hole in the midst of his 5-over 77 third round. Lyman finished with a 13-over 229 overall.

One stroke back of Lyman for the tournament was Matthew Broder. The junior finished in a tie for 67th and matched Lyman's 5-over 77 for the day. Broder also birdied a pair of holes, tying Sinha for the most on the team.

Ajay Morris ended his tournament with a 10-over 82 final round. The freshman finished alone in 85th with a 17-over 233.

Michael Chevalier capped off the weekend with a 6-over 78 that featured 12 pars. Individually, the junior tied for 90th with a 19-over 235 overall.

With the regular season in the books, UTA now turns its attention to the Western Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championship. The tournament is set to tee off on April 27 and runs through April 29 at the Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney. FOLLOW ALONG
