MONROE, La. - Quintin Rohrbaugh collected three hits and drove in three and Jakob Hernandez tossed his sixth quality start of the year, leading UTA to a 10-3 win at ULM to sweep the three-game series, on Sunday afternoon at Warhawk Field.
UTA (23-17, 13-5 Sun Belt Conference) completed the three-game sweep with the win, earning a 6-4 win in the opener and a 10-2 win on Saturday. UTA has now won five consecutive games and have 11 wins over its last 14 games. During a four-game week, the Mavs earned a 3-2 win over No. 23 Texas A&M, before sweeping the set in Monroe.
UTA opened the game up early, plating two in the first and four in the sixth for an early advantage. ULM got single runs in the third, sixth and seventh innings.
ON THE MOUND
UTA starter Jakob Hernandez (4-0) remained undefeated with his sixth quality start of the year. He worked seven innings, allowing five hits and three runs, walking two and striking out nine.
With a 10-3 lead to open the eighth inning, UTA turned to sophomore righty Dylan Schneider in relief. Schneider got two outs before Ryan Buss escaped a jam in the eighth and Austin Gardner worked the ninth.
ULM (11-30, 5-13 Sun Belt) starter Keegan Curtis (1-5) worked 2.2 inning, allowing five runs on four hits and five walks. ULM also used Tyler Schwaner, Matthew Reeves, Chase Carter and Stephen Morrison in relief.
LEADING THE MAVS
The Mavs collected 11 hits and 10 runs in the game, pounding out four doubles. UTA got a three-hit game from Rohrbaugh, who drove in three and had a double. RJ Williams and Will Olson each had two-hit games, with Aaron Funk, Brady Cox, Noah Vaughan and Christian Hollie each earning hits.
HOW THEY SCORED
The Mavs opened the scoring in the top of the first inning, loading the bases with three walks. Rohrbaugh then singled into leftfield to score a pair and give the Mavs a 2-0 lead.
In the third inning, UTA stretched its lead with three runs on three hits and a walk. Cox led off with a full-count walk and Olson moved him to scoring position with a single to shallow centerfield. After the second out moved both runners into scoring position, Vaughan pounded a two-run double off the wall in right-centerfield. Hollie then scored Vaughan with a single to centerfield.
ULM plated its first run of the game in the third, getting its leadoff runner on via a dropped third strike, with the run scoring on a two-out wild pitch.
UTA got the run back in the top of the fourth inning, with Cox leading off with a double off the wall in rightfield, taking second on a quality out from Salinas. Olson then drew a four-pitch walk and the Mavs swiped a run with a first-and-third double steal, with Cox sliding in ahead of the throw to the plate.
In the sixth inning, UTA added two runs on three hits. Funk led off with a bunt single, his team-leading fourth of the year, stealing second base and scoring on Olson's two-out RBI single to rightfield. Rohrbaugh doubled down the line to score Olson and give UTA a 9-3 lead.
UTA executed the first-and-third double steal in the eighth inning to extend its lead to 10-3. Salinas drew a walk to leadoff and he and Vaughan executed the steal to score Salinas.

The Mavs will return to action with a Tuesday tilt at Oklahoma.
