Wagner selected to chair national commission

Aug. 24, 2017 PROVO, Utah - Kathy Wagner, head strength & conditioning coach at UT Arlington, was recently elected to serve as Chair of the Certification Commission of the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa).

The CSCCa was established in May 2000 to meet the specific and unique needs of collegiate strength and conditioning coaches around the country. Wagner received the prestigious title of Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC) at the May 2014 MSCC Induction Ceremony.

Wagner, with 15+ years of experience the field, has had a tremendous impact on the profession, as well as on an innumerable number of student athletes who have had the privilege of training under her supervision.

"We are grateful to have Kathy serving as Chair of the CSCCa Certification Commission," said CSCCa Executive Director, Dr. Chuck Stiggins. "Kathy has a wealth of experience and knowledge that is of immense value to this organization and to the Commission. She is a tremendous asset to the profession, and we are fortunate to have her as a member of our association. We appreciate her willingness to serve in this capacity. She is an example of an outstanding strength and conditioning professional."
