ARLINGTON - Basketball season is just around the corner and fans will get their first chance to meet and interact with the 2018-19 UTA men's and women's basketball teams during Meet the Mavs, presented by Downtown Arlington. The event will take place on Moritz Plaza outside of College Park Center on Oct. 25 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Featured at the event, which is free to attend, fans will get the chance to mingle and shoot around with both teams. Downtown Arlington will provide free t-shirts at the event. Kids can enjoy the bounce house and pop a shot inflatables. All fans are encouraged to come early to enjoy free food and drinks provided by In 'N' Out. FREE popcorn & cotton candy will also be available throughout the event. 
 
When at the event fans will have the opportunity to take a selfie with players, coaches,  and trophies. Additionally, fans can purchase discounted merchandise as part of our UTA Team Gear Sale! Fans will also be treated to performances by the Maverick Dance Team.

The Mavs will host an exciting slate of both nonconference and Sun Belt action at College Park Center. The men welcome opponents such as Northern Iowa, former SLC rival Texas A&M - Corpus Christi, UC Davis and SBC powers Louisiana and Georgia State. The Lady Mavericks have two power five foes coming to the home court with Arkansas on Nov. 14 and USC on Dec. 22, as well as in-state rivals UTSA (Dec. 20) and Texas State (Feb. 2)
