POSTGAME NOTES

• UTA fell to 16-11 on the season and 7-7 against Sun Belt competition. UTA is 11-2 at home, but fell to 4-9 on the road (1-6 in the Sun Belt). The Mavericks remain on the road Saturday, Feb. 17 for a 7 p.m. tipoff at league-leading Louisiana.

• ULM improved to 12-12 on the season and 6-7 in the Sun Belt. The Warhawks remain at home Saturday to host Texas State at 2 p.m.

• For the 2nd straight game and the 2nd time this season, UTA's starting lineup consisted of forwards Nathan Hawkins and Kevin Hervey, center Johnny Hamilton and guards DJ Bryant and Erick Neal. UTA featured a different lineup in each of its previous five games.

• Senior guard Kaelon Wilson entered the game in the first half, his first action since suffering an injury early in the Feb. 1 game at home against Appalachian State.

• Senior guard Erick Neal scored 35 points at ULM to give him 1,401 in his career. He surpassed Paul Renfro (1,380 from 1976-80) for fifth in career-scoring in program history.

• Senior forward Kevin Hervey handed out 5 assists at ULM, surpassing his previous season high of 4 against Loyola Marymount and at UTRGV. His career best is 7 against North Texas in Dec., 2015.

• Senior guard Erick Neal went 9-fof-12 from behind the 3-point arc at ULM. His 9 made 3-pointers equaled the program record for a single game (9 by Willie Brand vs. Northwestern State, Feb. 14, 1991). He also went 13-of-19 from the field. His 13 field goals set a career high.

• Sophomore guard DJ Bryant set a career best with 5 rebounds at ULM. His 3 field goals also equaled his career high.

• Senior forward Kevin Hervey set a season high with 5 assists.
