ARLINGTON, Texas – Three men and one woman from the UTA track and field program were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) 2018 All-Academic Team, the organization announced Thursday.
 
For the men, Adam Damadzic (3.59; PhD psychology), Joel Duren (3.70; business marketing) and Petter Gustafsson (3.56; business operations management) were honored. On the women's side, Astrid Rosvall (3.33; business management) earned the distinction.
 
To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors during the outdoor season, the student-athlete must have complied a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships, including preliminary rounds.
 
"We are very proud of our student-athletes," UTA coach John Sauerhage said. "They had outstanding seasons in competition and were amazing in the classroom as well."
