The Ticket’s ‘Hardline’ To Broadcast Live At CPC Monday Before @UTAMavsMBB Game

ARLINGTON – The extremely-popular Hardline afternoon show on The Ticket (1310 AM/96.7 FM) will be broadcasting live inside the College Park Center from 3-7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, in advance of the UT Arlington men's basketball team's local showdown with North Texas at 7 p.m.

The broadcast is presented by eSix Sportswear, and Gate 2 doors to the CPC will open at 4 p.m. to allow access for those fans who would like to watch the show's final three hours live. A limited amount of seating directly in front of hosts Mike Rhyner and Corby Davidson will be provided.

At 4:30 p.m., UTA head men's basketball coach Chris Ogden will join the program live to discuss a myriad of topics, including his team's start to the season and that evening's matchup with the Mean Green.

This will mark the second-straight season the show originates from the CPC, and it is part of a larger season-long partnership between The Ticket and UTA Athletics – particularly as it relates to men's basketball. Advertising commercial and promotional spots have been running over the air and online throughout the first few weeks of the season, and fans can expect those to continue through March as the Mavericks look to make another push at a Sun Belt Conference title and NCAA Tournament berth.

In conjunction with the Hardline broadcast, Rhyner – a 1981 UTA graduate and distinguished alumnus – will serve as the honorary Victory Bell ringer, which will take place moments before tipoff.

One of the nation's most successful and award-winning sports radio stations, The Ticket – started by Rhyner – recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.

As part of Monday's festivities, eSix Sportswear will be giving away orange UTA-branded t-shirts to all students. Students will have another added reason to attend as one lucky Maverick will have an opportunity to win free tuition for a semester.

It will also be Star Wars Night, with the first 1,000 fans in attendance receiving a limited edition UTA Men's Basketball Star Wars poster. Additionally, there will be a Star Wars character meet and greet on the concourse, and a Jedi halftime performance.

UTA is coming off a double-figure road victory at Elon on Thanksgiving Day, and has played the 12th-hardest schedule in the nation to this point – which includes a narrow six-point loss at #8 Gonzaga and a pair of single-digit setbacks to NCAA and NIT participants from a year ago.

Tickets to Monday's matchup with UNT are still available, and can be secured by logging on to UTATickets.com. Included in the ticket offerings are two special deals: the Three-Point Play and Family Four Pack. The Three-Point Play includes a game ticket, small popcorn and a soft drink for just $10, while the Family Four Pack includes four game tickets, four hotdogs and four soft drinks for only $40.
