Box Score ARLINGTON -- On a day when only singles matches were played, the UT Arlington women's tennis team (5-0) took care of business with a 4-0 home win against Western Kentucky (0-4).
 
Almudena Boza got the first win of the day for the Mavericks, beating WKU's Kyla Dilger 6-0, 6-0. The win marks Boza's team-leading 14th singles win of the season.
 
UTA's Carla Pons and Nanaka Takeuchi also picked up a straight sets win against the Lady Toppers' Judit Gonzalez Agud and Zeneice Charles-Hall, respectively.
 
The Lady Toppers only had five players, giving UTA's Liz Chileno a win by default, clinching the match for the Mavericks.
 
Since the match was already clinched, both Momoka Horiguchi's and Lucia Natal's singles match was called early. Horiguchi and Natal each won their first set.
 
UTA gets a day off before returning to its home courts against Wichita State at 10 a.m. Sunday.
