Fall Schedules Announced for @UTAMavsMTEN and @UTAMavsWTEN

ARLINGTON, Texas – The fall tennis slate is just over a month away for UT Arlington, as head men's and women's tennis coach Diego Benitez announced that the programs will begin fall play on September 13 when they travel to Midland to participate in the Midland Invitational.
"We are looking forward to all of our fall competitions," said Benitez. "It is the time for our players to compete for individual and doubles ITA rankings. We are excited about competing in so many good tournaments offering these opportunities to our players."
The Mavericks have five tournaments listed for their fall season, as both teams will travel to Midland, Rice, Southern Methodist and compete in two ITA tournaments.
Both teams will compete in the Midland Invitation over the three-day tournament from Sept. 13 through 15, before the women travel to Houston to participate in the Rice Invitational from Sept. 27 through 29. The Mavs will head back to the Metroplex to take on foes at the SMU invitation from October 4 through 6. They will then head to Tulsa, Okla. to compete in the prestigious ITA All-American that will occur over October 5 through 13. The Mavs will end the fall slate at the ITA Regional in Waco from October 17 through 21, with qualifiers advancing to the national tournament in November.
The men will have a break in the action after the Midland Invitational, having to wait until October 5 to participate in the ITA All-American in Tulsa. The Mavs will head back to Texas to play in the Rice Invitational from October 18 through 20. ITA action will resume in late October, as the Mavs head to Waco to participate in the ITA Region from October 25-28, with qualifiers advancing to the national tournament in November. The fall slate will end in the Metroplex with a trip to Dallas to compete in the SMU Invitational from November 1 through 3.
