Lady Mavs Host ULM On Saturday Afternoon

ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington women's basketball team will welcome the Warhawks of ULM to College Park Center on Saturday, Jan. 18. Tip-off for the contest, which will also be Dallas Wings Day/Nat'l Girls & Women In Sports Day at CPC, is set for 2:00 p.m.

Marie Benson dropped a career-high 30 points vs. Louisiana on Thursday, Jan. 16. Her 30-point performance is the first 30-point game by a Lady Mav since Rebekah Van Dijk (31 points) accomplished the feat at Arkansas State on Jan. 12, 2018.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Lady Mavericks are limiting opponents to just 37.1 percent shooting, which ranks 75th in the country. UTA also ranks in the top 100 nationally in Assists (29th; 16.8), field goal percentage (55th; 43.9%) and assist/turnover ratio (62nd; 1.05).

TAKE 'EM AND MAKE 'EM
Misty Dossey has been extremely efficient shooting the ball over her six seven games. The sophomore has made 71.4 percent (20-of-28) of her shots from the field for the Lady Mavs over those six outings.

Dossey has also averaged 6.8 ppg, 4.7 rpg and 1.7 bpg during that span.
