ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington baseball team held its 29th Annual Alumni Golf outing on Friday afternoon at the Texas Rangers Golf Club.
Â
"It was a good day being able to have parents, players and alumni come out in support of the program," said head coach Darin Thomas.
Â
A wet day couldn't prevent alumni and other participants from displaying their unwavering support for the program. Over 80 former players showed up to participate in the event as over $15,500 was raised to help support the baseball program.
Â
"We couldn't be happier about the turnout," said Alumni Club President Jeff Burrow (1988-91) "The alumni program has always been strong for baseball. Coach Thomas has done a wonderful job with this program and anything we can do to help we want to do."
Â
The winning team included Beau Barnes, Colton Turner, Daniel Milliman and Jacob Moreland.
