HOUSTON, Texas – For the first time this fall, the UT Arlington women's tennis team will participate in a tournament as they head to Houston to play in the three-day Bay Area Houston UTR Tournament (Oct. 10-12).
Â
"The girls have been working hard the last couple weeks to get ready for this tournament," said Head Coach Diego Benitez. "It will be nice to get out there and get some good competition in."
Â
The women ended 2020 ranked No. 69 in the final ITA Poll. Following a breakout junior campaign, Momoka Horiguchi will look to improve upon her 7-3 single spring record, which helped lead the Mavs to an 8-3 record.
