UTA NOTES

• At 12-3, the Mavericks are off to their best start since 2001 - Darin Thomas's first season with the team. That season the Mavs made it to the NCAA Tournament.
• The Mavs latest RPI ranking is No. 4, the highest in program history. They raised nearly 40 spots since last Thursday.
• Utility Wyatt Divis has come on strong on the mound in the early going of 2020. Through 16 innings, Divis has yet to give up a run. He is currently one of nine qualifying pitchers in the NCAA with a 0.00 ERA
• This will be the highest RPI ranking matchup in UTA history with UTA sitting at No. 4 and the Sooners at 14.
• Connor Aube has a hit in every game he's played this season. Aube is on an 14-game hitting streak dating back to the SBC Tournament and has had a hit in 17 out of the last 18 games.

KNOW YOUR OPPONENT | OKLAHOMA

• The Sooners are coming off a series win over San Diego State last weekend, winning the final two games of the series in Norman.  OU has been ranked as high as 9 in the Baseball America and Perfect Game polls.
• Tanner Tredaway leads the Sooners on offense, batting an even .400 on the season.  He is one of four Sooners that have three home runs on the year (Peyton raham, Tyler Hardman, Brady Lindsly).
• The Sooners rank in the 25 in the NCAA in three categories: fielding percentage (.985 - 9th), hits (166 - 13th) and home runs (18 - 21st).
• Oklahoma's pitching staff has a combined ERA of 3.02.  They are led by Wyatt Olds who boasts a 1.89 ERA in five appearances. 

ON DECK
The Mavericks will head out of the Lone Star State for the first time this season, traveling to Little Rock, Arkansas to begin Sun Belt Conference play against Little Rock.  The three-game series will begin on Friday, March 13.

SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets are available for baseball for $75, while softball is $25.  All seating is general admission. Individual tickets for both baseball and softball will $6, except for the March 24 baseball contest against TCU, which will be $10. Children aged two and under, as well as UTA students with an ID, get in to all games for free.
