ARLINGTON – To continue remaining engaged with fans and supporters during these uncertain times, UT Arlington Athletics officials are excited to announce a new MAVChat video series.
 
An offshoot of the successful 'Coffee with the Coaches' virtual calls, MAVChat will be open to the general public and hosted bi-weekly on Wednesdays via Zoom, beginning Aug. 5 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Central.
 
The first MAVChat will be focused on women's basketball and feature the following individuals:

• Krista Gerlich, Lady Mavs Head Coach
• JC Carter, New Lady Mavs Associate Head Coach
• Rebekah VanDijk, Former Lady Mav
• Cierra Johnson, Former Lady Mav

Moderated by UTA's Director of Video and six-time Lone Star Emmy Award winner Neil Beasley, each MAVChat will feature a Q&A session with the participants and allow for viewers to ask questions, among other engaging facets and potential surprise guests.
 
Subsequent MAVChat calls will feature various coaches, leaders, staff and community supporters of UTA Athletics with the goal of providing fans the opportunity to engage with the Mavs remotely.
