ARLINGTON – The UT Arlington volleyball team will look to continue their winning ways and extend their two-match winning streak this weekend as they host App State and Coastal Carolina in the College Park Center.
UTA NOTES

- Brooke Townsend enters this weekend with 983 career kills, just 17 shy of becoming the 19th Maverick to enter the 1,000 kill club. She is currently averaging 2.63 kills per set.
- Not missing a beat from last year, Alli Wells picked right where she left off. The sophomore ranks 16th in the nation with 5.25 digs per set and 33rd in total digs (352)
- Alli Wells hasn't just been a force on defense this year, the CoVID sophomore sits at 992 career digs - just 8 away from becoming the 22nd member of the 1,000 dig club.
- Monica LaFleur is putting together one of the more impressive freshman seasons in Maverick history. Through 17 matches, she is hitting .271 - good for the 7th best hitting percentage by a freshman in program history.
- After not winning on the road all season, the Mavericks went to Arkansas and swept the Arkansas schools for just the second time in program history - defeating A-State and Little both by a score of 3-1.
- UTA has been limiting their errors when attacking. They have the fourth fewest attacking errors in the Sun Belt.
