ARLINGTON – The men's basketball game between UT Arlington and Nevada scheduled for this coming Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the College Park Center has been canceled due to COVID protocols within the Wolf Pack program.
Â
UTA – which has yet to play a Division-I team this season that didn't compete the NCAA Tournament last year – is now next scheduled to take the court on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. versus Lamar.

Â
Nevada would have been the fifth KenPom top-100 ranked team which UTA had faced in its non-conference schedule; the Mavericks (2-5) have played the 8th-hardest schedule in the nation to this point.
UTA is coming off a big 70-62 win last Saturday at UC Santa Barbara – the preseason Big West Conference favorites who went to the NCAA Tournament last year.
Â
The victory – which snapped the country's 6th-longest home winning streak at 20 – was UTA's first road non-conference win over a top-100 KenPom team (UCSB #93 at the time) since the Mavs took down BYU (then #73) on Nov. 18, 2018.
