JD Wadleigh, Phillip Childs, Andrew Miller and Cason Gregory each finished with one hit.  Connor Aube and Gregory finished with one RBI each.

Neither team could muster a hit until the third inning.  A walk and single put runners on first and second for the Horned Frogs before both base runners advanced with a wild pitch.  Phillip Sikes drove a ball to left field bring in the first two runs of the game as TCU took an early 2-0 lead.

The Horned Frogs added another run in the top of the fourth.  Back-to-back singles to start the inning, followed by another wild pitch, put runners at second and third for TCU.  Porter Brown grounded out to Minjarez at shortstop but brought in a run in the process.

The Mavericks got one back in the bottom frame.  With two outs, a walk from Miller and single from Minjarez put runners on first and second.  Gregory connected on a line drive up the middle of the field to drive in Miller and score the first run for the Mavericks

UTA plated one more run in the fifth inning.  Singles from Wadleigh and Childs put the Mavericks in business before Aube drove in Wadleigh with a ground ball to the shortstop to make it a 3-2 ball game.

TCU used the eighth inning to pick up some insurance runs.  Two triples allowed the Horned Frogs to plate two more runs and take a 5-2 lead.
