AS A SOPHOMORE (2017)
Opened the year as UTA's everyday shortstop before suffering a season-ending injury … Hit .273 (15-for-55) with three doubles and seven RBI in 16 games … Was hit by three pitches … Started UTA's first nine games at shortstop … Went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the season opener vs. SEMO … Went 2-for-4 at SFA before driving in two with a RBI double in the nightcap of the doubleheader on the second day of the season … Had an RBI double in the weekend finale at SFA … Went a career high 4-for-5 with two RBI and a double in a win at Texas A&M-CC … Made first career start at third base in the series finale at TAMU-CC … Went 2-for-4 vs. Milwaukee, sliding over the third base to shore up the infield defense late in the game … Suffered a season-ending injury vs. No. 4 Texas Tech at Globe Life Park on March 14.
