LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The UT Arlington baseball team (11-18, 4-5 SBC) will travel to Little Rock, Arkansas for a three-game series against the Little Rock Trojans (13-12, 3-6 SBC) this weekend (April 8-10).

UTA NOTES
- Cade Winquest has been nearly unhittable over his past two outings in Sun Belt play. Â He owns the third lowest ERA amongst all SBC pitchers (0.73) and the second lowest opposing batting average (.125)
- In the four and a half hour 16-13 win over Tarleton, the two teams combined to use 16 total pitchers. The Mavericks used seven, while the Texans put nine different arms on the bump.
- The Mavericks are now 9-0 on the season when they are leading after six innings. Â However, when trailing, that record flips to 1-17 on the year.
- Left handed starters have not fared well against the Mavericks lineup this season. When UTA faces a left-handed starter, the Mavericks are 3-0 on the season.
- Matt Cavanagh has turned it on in Sun Belt Conference games. In his eight games played, he leads the Mavericks with a .435 batting average, .500 on-base percentage, and .522 slugging percentage. He is also second on the team with eight RBI.
- Steven Saunders and Zach Henry enter this weekend with an 8-game reached base streak. Â Henry also owns the longest reached base streak on the team this season, going 13 straight games earlier in the season.
KNOW YOUR OPPONENT | LITTLE ROCK
- The Trojans return 2021 Sun Belt Pitcher of the Year Hayden Arnold to their rotation in 2022. So far this season, the senior righty has a 3-2 record and 2.58 ERA on the year. He leads the team with 36 strikeouts across 45.1 innings pitched.
- Little Rock has a team batting average of .304, which includes four batters qualifying above .300 - Nathan Lyons (.378), Canyon McWilliams (.375), Jorden Hussein (.348) and Noah Dickerson (.337).
- Dickerson and McWilliams have combined for nearly half of the Trojans 22 home runs on the season. Dickerson has six, while McWilliams has four to his name.
- The Trojans rank in the top 25 in the NCAA in both batting average (24th) and doubles per game (21st). They are averaging 2.36 doubles per game.
SERIES HISTORY
This will be the last series between the Mavericks and Trojans as conference foe as both teams will be leaving the Sun Belt at the conclusion of this season. Â UTA will be joining the WAC, while Little Rock will be joining the OVC. Â The Mavericks have won four straight in the series, but have not played in Arkansas since 2018.
