ARLINGTON – The UT Arlington baseball program is excited to hold the 12th annual First Pitch Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Globe Life Field inside the StubHub Club.
Doors open at 6 p.m. for a short cocktail reception followed by dinner and a program.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet first-year head coach
Clay Van Hook and engage with his new coaching staff and players all while learning more about the upcoming season.
The First Pitch Banquet helps to raise funds specifically for the baseball program, helping offset the cost of scholarships, team meals, gear, travel, facility upgrades and much more.
Individual tickets are $30/person and complimentary parking will be available in Lot A located outside Globe Life Field.
Event questions should be referred to the Development Coordinator of the Maverick Club Chuck Harris (chuck.harris@uta.edu or 817.272.9770). Fans and supporters are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible to reserve their seat for the event. Purchase tickets online

The Mavericks season begins on Feb. 17 when they travel to Texas A&M Corpus Christi for a three-game series.
UTA, who has historically played a competitive schedule, will do so again in 2023 as they will take on five non-conference schools who made the 2022 NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament, DBU (Feb. 21 & April 18), TCU (Feb. 22, March 7 & 28), Oklahoma (March 1 & May 16), Texas Tech (March 13-14), and Texas (May 9).
