Mavericks Host First-Of-Its-Kind Event For A WAC School
ARLINGTON – UT Arlington Athletics hosted a 'Life Beyond the Game: Internship & NIL Symposium' this past Friday evening, Nov. 10, as part of Homecoming weekend.
More than 20 businesses participated in the inaugural event, giving 80 student-athletes an opportunity to network and build relationships with local DFW leaders.
The first-of-its-kind event by a WAC school is the latest step by UTA Athletics to be among the best in regards to educating student-athletes, and proving them opportunities, to build and monetize their personal brands beyond their athletic competitions.
