ARLINGTON – UT Arlington softball and head coach
Kara Dill have announced the 2024 recruiting class, consisting of six student-athletes who have signed their National Letters of Intent.
"We are so excited about our 2024 Maverick class," stated Dill. "Off the field, they will help strengthen our competitive culture with their character and integrity. On the field, they will bring a diverse skill set to our roster. Their mix of speed and strength at the plate as well as competitiveness on defense will continue to elevate our program. We can't wait for this class to get to Arlington!"
Bailey Collins | INF | 5-10 | Mansfield Lake Ridge High School | Mansfield, Texas
Collins is a power hitter and local product out of Mansfield Lake Ridge High School. Outside of high school, the infielder plays travel ball for Texas Glory.

Kynlee Bowlin | RHP | 5-5 | Frenship High School | Lubbock, Texas
Bowlin is a right-handed pitcher from Frenship High School out of Lubbock, Texas. While in high school, the righty earned Academic All-District honors in 2022 and 2023 while serving as a member of the National Honor Society. Currently, Bowlin plays travel ball for Firecrackers.

Jaycee Knighton | RHP | 5-3 | Livingston High School | Livingston, Texas
Knighton is a right-handed pitcher originating from Livingston, Texas where she attends Livingston High School. Knighton is a 1st and 2nd Team All-District selection where she received an honorable mention her freshman year. The two-time National Honor Society member earned Academic All-District honors her freshman, sophomore, and junior year.

Talia Maldonado | UTL | 5-3 | Veterans Memorial High School | Corpus Christi, Texas
Maldonado is a two-time All-District Academic team honoree hailing from Corpus Christi where she serves as a member of the National Honor Society. The utility player was named 1st Team All-District Catcher and Shortstop her sophomore and junior year. Outside of high school, Maldonado plays travel ball for South Texas Prospects.

Camila Spriggs | MIF | 5-5 | Walnut Grove High School | Prosper, Texas
Spriggs in a middle infielder from Prosper, Texas where she attends Walnut Grove High School. In high school, Spriggs was named 1st Team All-District, 5A State Semi-Finalist and was voted Team Defensive Player of the Year. In addition, the Prosper product was selected to the Dallas Morning News All-Metroplex Team. Outside of high school, Spriggs plays travel ball for Texas Glory.

Alyssa Terry | UTL | 5-9 | Clear Brook High School | Houston, Texas
Terry is a four-year varsity softball player at Clear Brook High School where she was named 2nd Team All-District (2020, 2021), MVP (2021, 2022), 2nd Team All-District Utility (2022, 2023), Offensive MVP (2022, 2023) and 1st Team All-District Utility. Outside of high school, the Houston product plays travel ball for Impact Gold – Elder where she was selected to Alliance Fastpitch's All-Tournament Team in 2022.
