OREM, Utah – The UT Arlington Mavericks softball team travels to Orem, Utah this weekend for a conference weekend series at Utah Valley.
The Mavericks and Wolverines will open the weekend with a doubleheader on Friday, scheduled for 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. CT, followed by a single game on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT.
UTA enters the weekend after securing a conference series win over Tarleton State (2-1).

GAME NOTES
- UTA continues its success in WAC play as they claimed their second conference series win (2-1) over Tarleton State this past weekend (W, 7-6; W, 7-4; L, 6-2).
- The Mavericks rank first in the WAC in FIVE categories -- double plays (21), double plays per game (.66), home runs (36), home runs per game (1.13) and scoring (6.50). The Mavericks also currently rank FIFTH in the NATION in double plays per game and NINTH in the NATION in double plays.
- Peyton Holland ranks first in the WAC in assists (79) and assists per game (2.47). Holland also sits at fourth in home runs with seven and third in stolen bases (10).
- While Mia McNulty ranks first in the conference in home runs per game (.33), she ranks second in home runs with nine. She also ranks third in the WAC in slugging percentage (.697).
- Dee McClarity also ranks first in the conference in walks per game (.74).
- Freshman Valeria Feeney ranks third in triples per game (.10) and toughest to strike out (19.2).
