ARLINGTON – Due to the impacts from icy precipitation that has blanketed North Texas, and is expected to continue affecting the DFW metroplex, the following schedule changes have been made to UT Arlington basketball home games this week:

• Wednesday night's (Feb. 1) men's basketball game against Tarleton has been postponed and rescheduled for 4 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6.
   
• Thursday morning's (Feb. 2) women's basketball contest versus Southern Utah has also been postponed and rescheduled for 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 6, as part of a doubleheader.
   
• The Kids Day event associated with the women's game on Thursday (Feb. 2) has been canceled, and the event will not be held this season.

Admission to both games on Monday, Feb. 6, will be free. Additional information regarding broadcasts will be forthcoming on UTAMavs.com and the department's official social media platforms as soon as they are confirmed.
 
Currently, the Saturday, Feb. 4, home doubleheader is still on as scheduled, with the women set to face Utah Tech at 1 p.m. and the men following versus Sam Houston at 4 p.m.
