ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington baseball team welcomes 2022 national runner-up Oklahoma to Clay Gould Ballpark tomorrow, March 1. Game time is scheduled for 6:30 pm.
UTA NOTES
- Comes into the game 2-6 overall, winning their last game against McNeese by a final score of 12-6.
- UTA ranks 1st in the WAC & 17th nationally in doubles per game with 3.
- Tyson Pointer leads the Mavs offensively, with a team high.515 slugging percentage in 33 at-bats with a team high 9 RBIs and 5 doubles.
- Through the 1st month of the season, freshman Ryan Black leads the team in batting average, hitting .391 across 23 at-bats with 9 hits, 1 double, and 4 runs driven in. Also has a team high on base percentage of .500.
- Steven Saunders is hitting .333 on the year with 10 hits in 30 at bats, driving in 3 runs with 2 doubles and a .400 slugging percentage.
