HOUSTON, Texas– The UT Arlington women's tennis team is set to travel to the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility this weekend to compete in the Houston Invitational, which will be the team's second event of the fall.
Aside from UTA, the trio of Houston, Air Force and Rice will participate in the event.
Action begins on Friday morning with doubles at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. with singles following afterwards. Doubles action starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday with singles around 11:30 a.m. Sunday will feature the final day of action with singles only beginning at 9 a.m.

Earlier this month, six Mavericks competed in the Diving Eagle Invite at the University of North Texas.
Sarina Reinertsen won three matches to make it to the championship round, where she fell in a close three-set match to Louisiana Tech's Olga Bienzobas 6-3, 2-6, 6-4.
Francisca Vergara,
Ana Paula Jimenez and
Nika Novikova each won one round. In doubles, three pairs earned a first-round win, as well.
