SEATTLE - The Western Athletic Conference leading UT Arlington volleyball team (18-2, 8-0 WAC) face off against the Seattle U Redhawks (5-13, 3-5 WAC) at the Redhawk Center on the campus of Seattle U on Thursday at 8 p.m. CT.
MATCH NOTES
- The Mavs are off to a 18-2 start, including 13 sweeps, and have the best record in the Western Athletic Conference. Additionally, the Mavs are on a nine-game win streak that includes five-straight sweeps.
- Paige Reagor holds a hitting percentage of .417 which not only leads the Western Athletic Conference, but also ranks 16th in the nation.
- Brianna Ford continues to lead the conference in kills per set with a mark of 4.69, which also ranks ninth in the NCAA. Ford also leads the conference in points per set with a 5.53 clip, which ranks her seventh in the nation. Ford, who has 314 kills so far this season, is currently third all-time in program history with 1,599 kills, and is 130 kills away from being tied with Ana de Oliveira for the second most in UT Arlington history. The native from Amarillo is the only player in the nation to be hitting .330 with at least 300+ kills.
- Mollie Blank ranks first in the conference in assists per set with a strong mark of 10.88, which also ranks 11th in the country. Blank currently ranks ninth in the program record book with 3,113 assists throughout her career.
- As a team, the Mavericks lead the conference in hitting percentage (.275), assists per set (12.86), kills per set (13.75) and have held teams to a .155 hitting percentage.
- The Mavericks are one of eight teams in the country with at least 18 wins.
- Samantha Glenn has put together 252 digs throughout the season for a mark of 3.65 digs per set, which ranks her fifth in the conference.
