ARLINGTON, TEXAS - The Western Athletic Conference leading UT Arlington volleyball team (20-2, 10-0 WAC) face off against the California Baptist Lancers (4-17, 4-7 WAC) at the College Park Center on Saturday at 12 p.m. CT. to kick off Homecoming week.
MATCH NOTES
- The Mavs are off to a 20-2 start, including 14 sweeps, and have the best record in the Western Athletic Conference. Additionally, the Mavs are on a eleven-game win streak.
- Paige Reagor holds a hitting percentage of .412 which not only leads the Western Athletic Conference, but also ranks 17th in the nation.
- Brianna Ford continues to lead the conference in kills per set with a mark of 4.56, which also ranks 11th in the NCAA. Ford also leads the conference in points per set with a 5.39 clip, which ranks her 10th in the nation. Ford, who has 342 kills so far this season, is currently third all-time in program history with 1,627 kills, and is 102 kills away from being tied with Ana de Oliveira for the second most in UT Arlington history.
- Mollie Blank ranks first in the conference in assists per set with a strong mark of 10.67, which also ranks 14th in the country. Blank currently ranks eighth in the program record book with 3,184 assists throughout her career.
- As a team, the Mavericks lead the conference in hitting percentage (.272), assists per set (12.77), kills per set (13.68) and have held teams to a .156 hitting percentage.
- The Mavericks are one of six teams in the country with at least 19 wins.
- Samantha Glenn has put together 281 digs throughout the season for a mark of 3.65 digs per set, which ranks her sixth in the conference.
