CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The UT Arlington men's tennis team is set to kick off their fall season at the Jake Frederick Memorial Islander Open at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center on the Texas A&M – Corpus Christi campus on Friday, September 12.
The tournament will run all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday with play beginning at 9 a.m. each day.
Competing in the tournament alongside the Mavericks and host Texas A&M – Corpus Christi will be Rice, UTSA, UTRGV, Lamar and Texas A&M – Kingsville. The tournament will feature several flights of singles and doubles action.
Representing the Mavs will be
Meethre Barot who will compete in just the open singles while
Yazid Lahjomri,
Andres Medus,
Pedro Sasso and
Ian Uraga will compete in both the open singles and open doubles
– #BuckEm –
