BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The UT Arlington track and field team concluded the Ted Nelson Invitational with multiple personal records, highlighted by a

To open up day two of the Ted Neslon Invitational, Desomond Frazier claimed 4th place in the men's shot put with a monster 17.89m fling. Levi Bontke set an indoor personal record with a toss of 12.19m
Winnie Kipsang ran her fastest 800m of the indoor season with a mark of 2:08.81s to claim a second-place finish. Her time ranks 1st in the WAC by almost 7 full seconds.
ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS FROM COACH
"Up and down meet but was extremely proud of the team, especially with two great performances by Winnie in the 800 and Desmond in the shot, leaving with some top WAC performances" said head coach
John Sauerhage. "Lots of personal bests but some inconsistent performances as well that we will work on so we can expect to be ready for the conference meet."
