ARLINGTON, TX – Winnie Kipsang and Desmond Frazier have been named the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women's Indoor Track and Men's Field Athletes of the Week, respectively, conference officials announced today.
Frazier earned the honors after claiming an indoor PR in the men's shot put with a 17.89m toss, which also currently leads the WAC. Last week, Frazier recorded a 17.61m toss, which would still lead the conference by almost a full meter and a half.
