ARLINGTON, TX – The UT Arlington volleyball team welcomes Tarleton State to College Park Center on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. Thursday's match, dubbed "Mavoween," will feature table decorations from student organizations and a costume contest with prizes for the best looks.
 
MATCH NOTES

• Following last Thursday's win over California Baptist, the Mavericks now hold an 11-8 overall mark and a 3-4 record in conference play.
• The Mavs have collected seven WAC weekly awards this season in Samantha Glenn being named WAC Libero of the Week (Sep 16, Sep 30, Oct 21) and Mira Ledermueller being named the WAC Setter of the Week (Sep 2, Sep 30, Oct 21, Oct 28).
• Currently, the Mavericks lead the Western Athletic Conference in aces per set (No. 1, 2.17), team service aces (No. 1, 176),
• UT Arlington also ranks in the conference's top three in eight other categories – digs per set (No. 2, 14.04), match W-L percentage (No. 2, .579), opp-hitting percentage (No. 3, .170), team assists (No. 2, 883), team attacks per set (No. 3, 34.21), team digs (No. 2, 1,137), team kills (No. 3, 955) and team total attacks (No. 2, 2,771).
• About six weeks ago, UT Arlington fell to Tarleton on the road, 2-3. The Mavericks look to even the series as the Texans come to Arlington this Thursday, Oct. 30.
• The Mavs and the Texans have met a total of ten times since 1973, with UTA holding the advantage in the series, 7-2-1.
• UTA ranks FIFTH in the NCAA for team services aces (176).
• In addition to this, the Mavs are ranked No. 6 in the country in aces per set (2.17).
• Glenn currently leads the WAC in digs per set (4.28) and ranks second in the conference in total digs with 347.
• Alexis Bull leads the WAC in aces per set (0.42). She also ranks third in the conference for service aces (30).
• Ledermueller, this week's WAC Setter of the Week, leads the WAC in assists per set (8.75) and ranks second in total assists (691) and service aces (31).
• Alondra Hernandez is the conference leader for service aces with 33. She also ranks second in aces per set (0.42).
