FORT WORTH, Texas – The UT Arlington women's tennis team is set to travel to TCU for the ITA Regional Tournament at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. Singles and doubles play will begin Thursday, Oct. 9, with the finals set for Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Six Mavericks are set to compete in singles action, with their first round matches on Thursday afternoon.
Tasnime Ahamout will start off singles play at 8 a.m. on Thursday, taking on UTSA's Laia Tarazona Peyro. Ahamout holds a 5-1 singles record in the fall season. She is coming off a strong showing where she went 2-1 at the ACU Invite, defeating opponents from Sam Houston and Stephen F. Austin.
Elizaveta Mladentseva will kick off singles action at 8 a.m. on Thursday, taking on Houston's No. 3 seed Iva Sepa.
Diana Kaibara begins singles play at 8 a.m., facing Rice's Ema Mravcova. Kaibara holds an even 2-2 record in the fall season, going 2-1 last time out at the ACU Invite, defeating opponents from UTSA and WAC foe Tarleton State.
Natalia Gonzalez gets singles play under way at 9:30 a.m. when she takes on North Texas' Lilly Schultz. Gonzalez holds a 4-2 record in singles action through two fall tournaments.
Flora Farkaslaki begins singles action at 9:30 a.m. when she takes on UTSA's Ayra Salim.
Vanja Cado kicks off singles play at 9:30 a.m. when she takes on Rice's Valentina Ponce Serrano. Cado looks to improve on her even 3-3 record in singles action through two fall tournaments.
Six Mavs are set to compete in doubles play, with their first round matches on Friday.
Cado and Gonzalez team up for doubles action while Ahamout and Farkaslaki join forces in doubles play. Rounding out the doubles teams for the Mavs is Kaibara and
Sofia Selle.
Cado and Gonzalez are set to battle UTSA's Giuliana Giardina and Laia Tarazona Peyro on Friday, Oct. 10, at 8 a.m. Kaibara and Selle take on Houston's Valeriia Krokhotina at 8 a.m. while Ahamout and Farkaslaki go against Tarleton State's Dariia Medviedieva and Duru Kuscu at 8:45 a.m.
