WACO, Texas - The UT Arlington baseball team (7-13) will face the Baylor Bears (16-7) in a midweek showdown tomorrow, Mar. 25.
The Mavs hold an all-time record of 35-91 over the Bears, including a 13-55 record on the road.
GAME NOTES
- Tyce Armstrong, a native of Conroe, Texas, leads the Mavs in homeruns (5), RBI (19), hits (25) total bases (45) and batting average (.313).
- Sophomore Nicholas Robb and senior Caden Noah pitched 10 innings of shutout ball against the Sacramento State Hornets on Saturday. The duo allowed just four hits, a run while striking out ten batters.
- In conference play, the Mavs pitching staff leads the WAC with an astounding 1.98 ERA, allowing just six earned runs over the weekend. The staff also ranks second in walks allowed (5), third in hits (24) and fifth in strikeouts (24).
