ARLINGTON – UT Arlington softball and head coach
Kara Dill have announced the addition of Austin native, Valeria Feeney, to the 2025 signing class.
"Valeria will make an immediate impact in Arlington," shared Dill. "Fans will love how hard she plays the game and competes every pitch. Her dedication to development and improving her game will be a great addition to our culture."
Feeney hails from Jame Bowie High School where she is a four-year letterman, three-time First Team All-District, three-time First Team All-Central Texas – multi-sport selection -and a two-time Silver Slugger award winner. The infielder was named Academic All-District two times while earning Golden Gloves honors and Newcomer of the Year.
Outside of high school, Feeney was a 2024 PGF All-American finalist by Extra Innings including being ranked #33 in the Player Class of 2025. Also, by Extra Innings, the Texas product was ranked #7 for the Infielder Class of 2025 and was selected to the EI All-Summer Team.
Feeney competes for Texas Blaze 18-u United and plans to pursue a major in political science.
