ABILENE, Texas – UT Arlington's
Tarini Bhoga led the Mavericks on Monday, Mar. 3 after turning in rounds of 75-73 on day one of Abilene Christian's West Texas Classic.
The freshman paced the Mav lineup with 21 pars and four birdies as she sits in top-10 contention alongside Oral Roberts' Anna Swan. If Bhoga's momentum carries into Tuesday's final round, it would mark the second top-10 finish for the freshie as the other outing came from UTA's Maverick Classic back in September.
As a team, UTA put up a 620 36-hole total with rounds of 305 and 315 as the squad sits just one shot shy of Bowling Green in 6th place.
