Nitisha Manikandesh continued her hot play following a 2nd-round 70 on Tuesday in the Western Athletic Conference Championship.
Currently, Manikandesh is in 2nd place - just one shot shy of Tarleton's Louise Depadt in 1st. The Texas native produced her 12th round of even par or better on the year after turning in rounds of 71-70. Manikandesh is tied for 1st in par 4s while tied for 3rd in pars 3s. The standout is responsible for one of three eagles made across the course of the tournament so far with Utah Tech's Samantha Phelan and Abilene Christian's Ryann Honea.
