ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington cross country teams will open the 2025 campaign on Friday, September 5 with their very own Gerald Richey Invitational at Harold Patterson Sports Complex.
The collegiate women's 5k is slated to begin at 7:30 a.m. with the men's 5k immediately following.
The Mavericks will be joined by Texas A&M – Corpus Christi, TCU, Abilene Christian, Tarleton State, Dallas Baptist, Baylor, Hill College and Ranger Junior College.
UTA's home meet is named in honor of longtime former UTA assistant track and field coach Gerald Richey who passed away in 2019.
