ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington Mavericks return to Clay Gould Ballpark on Tuesday, March 16, for a midweek non-conference matchup against the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT, with the game available on ESPN+.
UT Arlington enters the contest 7–12 overall after securing a series victory over No. 24 UTSA this past weekend in San Antonio. Stephen F. Austin arrives in Arlington with a 12–9 record following a series loss to Southeastern Louisiana.
GAME NOTES
- UTA returns home following its series win over the nationally ranked Roadrunners, marking the Mavericks' first series victory over a ranked opponent this season.
- Xavier Melendez paced the Maverick offense during the series, going 7-for-15 (.467) with a double, a home run and nine RBI while posting a .579 on-base percentage and .733 slugging percentage.
