ARLINGTON, Texas – The UT Arlington Mavericks remain at Clay Gould Ballpark this weekend as they welcome St. John's for a three-game non-conference series beginning Friday night. First pitch for the series opener is scheduled for 6 p.m.
UTA enters the weekend at 7–13, while St. John's comes in at 7–12. The Mavericks will look to continue building at home as they move closer to conference play.

GAME NOTES
- UT Arlington's pitching staff has been led by Caylon Dygert, who owns a 1.71 ERA across five appearances and five starts this season. Dygert has worked 31.2 innings and struck out 21 while allowing opponents to hit just .181 against him.
- Kyle Winkler has also been a steady presence on the mound, posting a 0.75 ERA in four appearances. Merek Sears has given UTA another reliable arm out of the bullpen, carrying a 2.87 ERA across 10 appearances and 15.2 innings.
- Offensively, Xavier Melendez continues to pace the Mavericks with a .393 batting average and 35 hits, while Austin Phillips is batting .317 with 20 hits and seven RBI. Zach Mazoch is hitting .270 with 20 hits and 14 RBI, and Preston Knott has added a .246 average with 15 hits and 14 runs scored.
