MCKINNEY, Texas – The regular season is in the books for UT Arlington Women's Golf and the postseason has arrived with the 2026 Western Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championship. The Mavericks join a 7-team field with the winning team in the tournament representing the conference in the NCAA Regional Championships.

UTA is coming off a fifth-place finish at the ULM Invitational in its regular season finale. The Mavericks ended the tournament with a 29-over-par 893.

There are no changes to the UTA lineup from the ULM Invitational.

INSIDE THE LINEUP
Nitisha Manikandesh

• Manikandesh once again carded the lowest score of any Maverick, finishing with a 1-over 217 at the ULM Invitational. The senior shot an even-par 72 in the final round and a 1-under 71 in the first.  Mankandesh finished tied for 9th individually. 

Tarini Bhoga

• Posting the lowest score in any round for UTA at the ULM Invitational was Bhoga. The sophomore's 2-under 70 final round highlighted a 4-over 220 that put her in a tie for 15th.

Kamri Gabel

• Gabel was the Mavericks third lowest finisher at the ULM Invitational. The senior worked around a rocky second round, shooting a 1-over 73 in the closing 18 holes and a 2-over 74 in the opener. Gabel finished tied in 49th place with a 16-over 232.

Chandler Browning

• Two strokes behind Gabel was Browning, who finished tied for 57th with an 18-over 234. The redshirt senior improved her score every round, shooting 81, 77 and 76 over the course of the tournament.

Nirjara Gulhane

• Gulhane finished one stroke behind Gabel and one stroke in front of Browning. The junior carded scores of 5-over 77 in each of her last two rounds. Gulhane's 17-over 233 was good enough to earn a tie for 53rd.
