Prior to UTA
Hjertonsson joins the Mavericks from Gotenberg, Sweden where he was consistently ranked a top-25 junior in the boys 16[apos]s and 18[apos]s, reaching as high as No. 12 and No. 3 in his district... also competed in ITF Junior tournaments in Sweden and achieved a men[apos]s national ranking of 102.
Off the Court
Hjertonsson is the son of Hans and Eva... born August 18, 1991... has one brother-Tom and one sister-Tove... majoring in engineering.
