Cross Country Highlights:
2013
Was a first-team All-Sun Belt Conference selection after placing third at the league meet.
Had an 8k time of 25:39.3 at the SBC Championships.
Took 30th in the NCAA South Central Regional 10k (31:16.1).
Finished 13th at the Crimson Classic with an 8k time of 25:09.1, helping the Mavericks to a runner-up showing.
2012
Earned second-team All-Western Athletic Conference honors for the team champion Mavericks.
Placed ninth at the league meet with an 8k clocking of 24:52.22.
Finished third at both the UTA Season Opener (15:07.6) and the Louisiana Tech Mook 4 (19:22).
Grabbed 19th at the Notre Dame Invitational 5-mile race (25:08).
Came in 65th at the NCAA South Central Regional (32:55.9).
Indoor Highlights:
2014
Helped lead the Mavericks to the team title at the SBC Championships with a win and two runner-up finishes.
Was the league champion in the 5000m with a comeback win by .06 with a clocking of 14:45.74, the second-fastest time in school history.
Finished second in both the mile (4:16.12) and the 3000 meters (8:12.94) at the league meet.
His 3000m time was the second-best in school annals.
Took first in the 3000m at the Texas A&M Invitational (8:19.85).
Had the second-best indoor mile time in UTA history (4:09.21) in a fifth-place effort at the Frank Sevigne Invitational.
2013
Appeared in just one meet on the year, the WAC Indoor Championships.
Placed 10th in the finals of the mile with a time of 4:28.42.
Ran a 4:22.69 in the league[apos]s prelims, the seventh-fastest time.
Outdoor Highlights:
2014
Competed in just three meets on the year prior to being injured.
Won the 3000 meters at the TCU Invitational with a clocking of 8:46.12.
Was the runner up at the Texas Relays in the 5000m (14:28.05).
His time in the event was a school record and helped him win SBC Track Athlete of the Week honors.
2013
Earned second-team All-Western Athletic Conference mention in two events at the league meet.
Took fourth in the 1500m at the WAC meet with a season-best time of 3:57.19.
Snagged a fifth-place showing in the league[apos]s 5000m race (15:04.96).
Won the 5000m at UTA[apos]s Bobby Lane Invitational with a time of 14:49.93.
PRIOR TO UT ARLINGTON
Attended Stephen F. Austin University where he competed one season in cross country.
Clocked a time of 34.24.1 at the 2011 NCAA Regionals.
Recorded a time of 26:40.7 to finished 35th overall at the 2011 conference cross country meet.
Set a personal-best time of 26:03 (8k) in his first career race.
Redshirted the 2010 cross country season.
HIGH SCHOOL
Placed second to the eventual state champion in both the 1600m (4:16.45) and 3200m (9:18.24) at the District 13-5A meet.
Is the school-record holder in the 2-mile run (9:18) and had a time of 4:16 in the mile, the second-fastest time in school history by 1/10th of a second.
