Biography

As a sophomore (2004-05)
Appeared in only two singles matches winning both of them...Defeated Missouri State's Carolina Ardila, 6-0, 6-0, along with Southeastern Louisiana's Zdenka Puflerova, 6-2, 7-6...Both of these came at the No. 5 position...Also finished the season with a 1-4 doubles record...Was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

As a freshman (2003-04)
A first team All-Southland Conference selection...Also earned first-team honors at the No. 2 doubles flight after going 8-1 in league action with teammate Monika Peciulionyte...Owned a 16-4 overall mark during the season with the majority of her play coming at the No. 4 position.

Prior to UTA
Participated in hockey and tennis at Bloemhof Girls High School...Was a two-time recipient of the Bernger Award in Tennis...Earned full colors all four years in tennis...In 2002 was awarded the Zondag Ribbons Trofee.
